Was a kid next door. Childhood friend. Our age. He was a photo/video guy. All of us learned how to develop film in school. We have a lot old B&W photos of us messing around but I can't show them here.
I went to a school where there was only 15 kids per class. Not the 35-40(plus) kids per class you have in Los Angeles, public schools. And we had art and music classes as part of the curriculum.
Kids who graduate public high school in L.A. should be knighted by the Queen of England... Or something.
Then again, I grew up in MN and went to a school where archery, snowshoeing, and winter outdoor survival, was also part of the curriculum. No kidding.
