You know what, girl!

It’s a horrible growing trend with Asian women to wear so much makeup they change their entire ethnicity. 

T., when you walk away from your makeup mirror, you’re still black. 

These young Asian girls, makeup artists even, are using

Eyelid tape

Nose bridge wax

Blue contacts

Skin color alteration 

Fake eyebrows

They don’t look Asian anymore. And then they complain when the industry won’t hire more Asian women. 

And I totally get that I’m old, from the Christie Brinkley “clean and natural Cover Girl” era, but too much focus is on unnatural full coverage rather than natural beauty enhancement. What happened to less is more? Clean and natural?

Both Jeffree Star and James Charles could pass as women with very little makeup if they wanted. If they wanted. They both have feminine facial structure. And I get what their brands and occupation are, I love them both, etc., but in the real world, on the daily, women don’t want to look like a makeup factory. Both Star and Charles are makeup artists primarily for other artists and their industry. 

But on the daily 

The most natural looking women in the industry are senior women selling products to 30 year olds. You don’t find that just a little odd?

69 year old Maye Musk. Does the last name sound familiar? It should. Her son is Elon Musk.

Lets bring back the clean and natural campaign.
