It's not the uniform

It's the man in the uniform.

I started Christmas shopping last Saturday, at The Grove, security and police everywhere. And while I'm thankful they were there, I was also disappointed that they had to be. This is where, and how, we live now. I Christmas shop where there are armed guards outside every department store.

Buying more guns isn't the answer. I don't know what the answer is, but it's not that.
