I avoid people who start their sentences with “I hate... “

Toxic. No thanks.

What people want at the very least is common sense. Me personally, I expect it. If you’re an adult I expect common sense. Decency would be nice. I’ll settle for common sense. 

A college girl dancing in a video with her clothes on is a non-story. But a political hopeful who goes on national television to discuss the economy alas does not know how many zeros are in a billion, that’s a problem. 

When that same political hopeful goes on CNN and has her facts corrected by Anderson Cooper during the entire interview, that’s a problem. 

When the same political hopeful lies about how and where she was raised simply to gain affection among the lower income voters, that’s a problem.

Girl, your party is (this close) to taking off their kid gloves with you. Your party is telling you to get your shit together. Listen to them. 

Americans don’t expect politicians to be morally correct or there would be no alcohol, pot would be illegal in every state and so would abortion, marital infidelity and pornography would also be outlawed. Asking a politician to be morally correct is like asking a divorce lawyer to be honest. Not gonna happen. And we don’t expect it.

What we do expect are facts. Common sense. Don’t blatantly lie to us. Don’t insult our intelligence. No one cared that some politician cheated on his wife, not really. That’s her problem. We cared that he looked us in the face and then lied and actually tried to insult our intelligence. 

Don’t say the deficit can be fixed by cutting off Military spending because “Like tanks are totally expensive”. 

Good grief, child. Do better. 

And while many Americans like watching drama unfold on television and on social media, we don’t want your drama in our homes. 

We don’t want toxic people in our lives. 

I would rather starve and die than be unable to rid poisonous people from my life. The country would agree. The country has agreed.

No more toxic people.
